RAD Garage’s YouTube channel is known for putting out some of the most cinematic detailing videos out there, so when we heard he was going to shoot a video on our new ceramic spray coating Bead Hero we knew it was going to be something special.
Now, at long last, the video is here! In it, Rick at RAD Garage washes, details and protects his friend’s 2023 Volkswagen Golf GTi MK8 Performance in Moonstone Grey, rounding out the protection step with the aforementioned Bead Hero.

Project Overview
“My friend Jeremy and his wife recently added a 2023 Volkswagen GTi MK8 Performance to their household. In an endless landscape of luxury SUV’s and sporty crossovers, I was so impressed by their decision to go this route. So, I had to invite Jeremy over and showcase their new pride and joy in a RAD presentation. In this video, Jeremy assists me as we give the Moonstone Grey GTi the best wash it has ever received. Using a variety of my favourite products, the two of us addressed every square inch of the exterior restoring it to better-than-new condition. We topped the project off by applying a generous layer of Bead Hero ceramic spray coating by Dr. Beasley’s that I recently received courtesy of Chris Racana and the team at Dr. B’s. The final results of this project are truly stunning.“
My Thoughts on Bead Hero
“I must thank my friend Chris, the Director of Success at Dr. Beasley’s for sending me up a bottle of Bead Hero. I was impressed with the ease of application. I chose to use it as a stand alone product on this unprotected car after drying it completely. It was very easy to apply. So much so, that I let my friend do the majority of the car. I used a 350 GSM plush towel to spread the product and then flip to buff. I could instantly feel the product smooth out the surface and it wiped away effortlessly. The next test will be watching how water reacts the next time this vehicle sees a wash. Jeremy told me he will take a video. My initial thoughts are this is a highly effective and easy-to-apply ceramic spray sealant that seems to offer a lot of flexibility in terms of usage.“
